The museum was once home to a pair of Irish setters, which were favorites of guests and an essential thread in the museum's fabric. Sadly, they moved on to greener pastures, and we felt the museum had undergone a great loss. The first newspaper classified to pop up advertising Irish setters, which were born in Tartu on March 15th (the same day as Aarne's birthday) made the decision easy. Now, the two sisters Puna and Roosa have made themselves at home and become an integral part of the experience here as well.
