Our grand piano – which was built by famous German piano-maker Carl Bechstein (1853–1900, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Bechstein(link is external)), originally belonged to Russian composer Nikolai Rakov (14 March 1908 – 3 November 1990, https://et.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nikolai_Rakov(link is external)), and given to the Museum by his descendents – has maintained its former freedom and freshness to this day. Renowned musicians have come to Käsmu to relish playing the rich tones of that piano in concert. This year, chamber performances have been given by Sven Kullerkupp (piano), Maria Felitsiant (piano), and Viktor Felitsiant (violin). The latest performers were Svetlana Tarnorutski (piano) and Maksim Tarnorutski (cello). Watch the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vne63_FPoQw
